Appointments & first visit
Is the practice accepting new patients?
Yes, we are happy to welcome new patients. Our practice opens on 01.08.2026 – appointments are available from that date. You can already send requests by phone or via the contact form.
How do I make an appointment?
The easiest way is by phone on +43 6245 70544 or via our contact form. Appointments are by arrangement.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring your e-card. If you are anxious about treatment, let us know in advance – we take extra time for you.
Insurance & private billing
Are you a public-insurance or private (Wahlarzt) dentist?
Both: many services we bill directly with the insurers (ÖGK, BVAEB, SVS), others as private (Wahlarzt) services. We discuss what applies in your case transparently.
What does treatment cost?
For legal reasons we may not state prices on the website. However, we clarify costs transparently with you before any treatment. Independent information is available at zahnarzt-kosten.at.
How does billing with the e-card work?
Many services are billed directly with insurers via the e-card. For private (Wahlarzt) services you receive an invoice to submit. We explain the process before treatment.
Anxious patients
Do you also treat anxious patients?
Yes. We take extra time, explain every step and proceed at your pace. On request we agree a stop signal and a first meeting without treatment.
Emergency & pain
What do I do with acute pain?
Call us during opening hours. At weekends the dental emergency service of the Salzburg Regional Dental Chamber can help.
Region & directions
Is there a dentist in Tennengau or Hallein?
Yes – Dr. Shko Atta Ali's practice is centrally located in Hallein (5400) at Krautgasse 5 and cares for patients from Hallein, Tennengau and the Salzburg region.
Where can I park in Hallein?
At the Salzberghalle car park you can park free for up to 3 hours – from there it is about a 3-minute walk to our practice in Hallein's old town. See our practice and contact pages for directions.
How do I reach the practice from Tennengau?
Via the A10 Hallein/Tennengau exit you reach the town centre. Our practice is centrally located at Krautgasse 5, 5400 Hallein – easy to reach from Tennengau and the Salzburg area.
